Kinship Circle
Writing, Reflection and Action on Behalf of Our Wild Kin
Invitation:
You’re invited to gather around herbal tea to share joy, grief, writing, and action on behalf of our wild relatives. Each gathering will begin with a grounding meditation and free-write, followed by space to share reflections and explore ways to deepen intimacy with nature and advocate for other species.
Our first gathering will be a circle of reflection: What are we grieving and noticing in our environments? Where is the need most present? Together, we’ll identify themes and species calling for our attention, care, and creative response. Future collective actions may include contributions to local newspapers, art projects and exhibitions, community flyers, and town hall gatherings to raise awareness and promote ecological healing.
You’re welcome to join us to reflect, process, and share. If you have experience in wildlife biology or ecology, you’re invited to share your experience and perspective. Writing prompts and shared practices will support deepening our relationships with the natural world.
Times and places for these monthly circles facilitated by WVC collaborators will be shared soon.
